I never heard of this stone, and had to look it up. I wanted to see what it is, mineralogically speaking, what it's related to. It's a member of the beryl tribe, essentially a pink emerald! I knew about aquamarines but not this. Amazing stone!

I have never seen a stone cut from the begining and was unfamiliar with morganite. I would never have imagined that dull looking stone would turn out so stunning. After watchng this video I have researched Maoganite and seen beautiful jewelry made from the different colors. Mr. Moriarty certaianly has earned his master title.
